“The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance. The wise grows it under his feet.”
James Oppenheim
Thanks for stopping by. Now let's get busy succeeding!
It is very true that happiness in not a destination but it is a journey to be enjoyed.
That's an excellent attitude!
There is always a big difference between wise and foolish. Thanks for sharing.
It's good to think about these things.
yeah, it is.
I always comment here, it means I'm looking for happiness here
thank you @goodvibrations
Thanks for your support!
fools are always looking for shortcuts for anything. not vice versa.
that's what I understand from the above words @goodvibrations
I like your reasoning on this!
Someone will be wise when he begins to count as deep as what his folly is about.
Gian Carlo Menotti
Thanks for your quote.
here I learned a lot about the meaning of life, thanks @goodvibrations
here we must think that something we are going to do must have thoughts like the rich man, that is to say, everything is under his feet, so all things can be subdued, nothing can not do.
😁 it's a good motivation @goodvibrations
I appreciate your words and your support!
Thank you 👍😀😀
I see a lot of people about the word wise above. in the search for their happiness is too much when if the person thinks wisely and positive the smallest thing will make him happy. I think so that.
Thank for sharing, I always look forward to your next posting @goodvibtations
"if the person thinks wisely and positive the smallest thing will make him happy"
Very good comment!
Thank you☺☺
Hi there @goodvibrations wonderful quote of the day!,yes indeed we should always keep our feet on the ground because little things is where big and great things starts
Thanks for your point of view. It's always precious to me!
This quote reminds me of your "Moss & Lichen" Photo Contest. There's the phrase that goes something like this: "A rolling stone gathers no moss". Well, after seeing all the awesome moss photo entries, and my recent trip up to the Seattle area - where there is a LOT of moss - moss seems soft and nice and inviting (at times). I'm not sure that moss would grow under our feet if we just stayed still - but perhaps once in a while we need to slow down and find a patch of moss that is untouched, and just stand on it, so we can feel the softness and the green-ness and the earthy-ness of it and connect with nature. I think you could definitely find happiness there.
""A rolling stone gathers no moss". you're right, maybe we could use a little moss!
loving your choice of words once again
Thanks!
But the wisest of all knows it is inside himself! 💙
