Comparing a corn plant to a mango tree isn't ideal even though both are plants. They have different life spans. It takes less time for the corn plant to produce but takes more time for the mango tree to produce fruit. The mango tree's race might look slower than that of the corn plant but the mango tree will definitely be greater and produce far more than what the corn plant will produce.
So, envy no one. If you've not gotten to where you want to be yet, it is because you've not gotten to your time. When the time for the mango plant to produce fruits come, it will definitely produce in its season. So, be deligent and keep working on all your plans.
