I think you should 100% pursue the passions that you have. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it or that it's not the right thing to do. You know what is right and good for you. I also think you should absolutely share your progress on your blog! Steemit is a great place for a genuine person like yourself to share your insight, experience, projects and progress!
