Hello steemians, I welcome all of us to this bright day.

I’m here to encourage us in well doing, we all know that we’re living in a world where everyone wants to be served. But we seem to forget that it’s more blessed to give than to receive.

Serve others and build yourself

Serving others can be seen as weakness, and when judged ordinarily, it looks as if the servant is inferior to the one receiving the service, but it’s never and can never be that way. The simple truth is that most of us doesn’t understand how life revolves and the laws of nature. The people that becomes better in life a happened to be people who have served others in their life.

Serving others attracts greater power for being more responsible.

When you serve others with love and sincerity, it opens you up to your own freedom of the mind, it paves way for greater opportunities in life, like meeting people that you shouldn’t have met in your life.

One good thing about serving others is that the servant might not know that he/she is being observed by people, it’s natural, the elevation could come as a surprise one day.

Your reward as a servant is a life time reward.

I’ll use myself as a case study here, I am a mother now, but I remember vividly when I was still a young damsel in my father’s house, my father was a police man and was in auto business back in those days, therefore, it wasn’t as if we lack anything, but yet my parents sent me to live with others and serve them, being the first daughter in my house, I really wondered why my biological parents could send me to another people’s home to suffer.

And when I got there, it happened that all of the responsibilities of keeping the house was upon me as a servant. The children of my madam was the ones that was enjoying life as it were, I was taking care of them down to the little born baby.

Now after so many years in my life, I’m beginning to enjoy the fruits of my labor, how?

It prepared me to be a good mother, I don’t have any need to hire a maid in my home now because all those house works are nothing to me now.
I know everything about taking care of my babies because I took care of another person’s children.
My husband is a happy man because I learned from others early in my life on how to make a good and happy home.
My children stands to gain because I’ll make them responsible children who can take care of themselves and others without waiting for other people to serve them.

I can go on and on to put down how it helped me by serving others, but I believe that this little story have benefited you.

In conclusion.

Whatsoever that your hands find to do, do it well, because what goes around comes around, no one knows tomorrow. Never despise anyone today because you don’t know who becomes somebody tomorrow.
