My Daily Dose of Motivation #25

in #motivation7 years ago (edited)

Do not worry. Yes, there are challenges and these challenges will grow over time but still do not be afraid. Here is why.
Our lives on earth has an expiry date. Not matter how had we try to look good or speak properly or dance beautifully, we will one day be no more to show off these things.

Some of these things are really important but not worth losing our happiness. About a year ago, I harboured the notion that being rich would make me happy. A thought which I have realised today to be seriously flawed and I believe there are countless others who also believe in similar ideas.

I have come to accept a true fact which is “Our wants can never to satisfied”. No matter how rich I become, I will never be satisfied or happy and to the end of time, I will always seek riches. True joy and happiness do come from the things money cannot buy.

Things like love, attention, commitment, relationships, FAMILY can never be bought but they can give the poorest man all the happiness he needs if he has it.
So, my message today is to help those like me a year ago to rethink their life decisions. It is good to be financially secure before you decide to have a family of your own but let us not in our quest for financial liberation forget what truly matters(HAPPINESS).

Great article. Upon reading the art of happiness, i realised that affection is the principal driving force of happiness and we need to continually care for others as it is reciprocal. Inanimate things bring joy whiles happiness comes from within.

I am glad you recognise this truth also @tj4real. We have been misguided by a lot of things and i believe it is time we freed ourselves from these fallacies. Happiness is and will always be an inside job.

Truth! (Resteeming this one)

I appreciate it a lot. @steemed-open. The world would be a far more greater place if people understood this concept.

Very nice, there are so much to learn through your experience my friend and I also recently read a message wants to share with you..In that picture message a poor girl was laughing loudly and yes she was looking happy and right below the picture there was a sentence "happiness has none any business with money"as poor people's can also be happy like us without any paper=(money).

It is the truth. It all boils down to one issue. The mindset. Whatever we believe will run our lives. Happiness is something that truly doesnt have any business to do with riches. If the mindset is right , it will be alright.

Yes sometimes but we the people doesn't understand the real happiness which lies in making others people's happy.i personally always try to make my surroundings happy.
