My Daily Dose Of Motivation #40

So this generation has got its priorities all wrong. The way we live literally shouts out one pathetic statement

We are okay with no money saved in the bank so long as we look dope in our designer outfits

This is really sad. It has become the new “normal”. A generation like this may ruin the foundations set up by the greats. How do we expect these youngsters to grow up and manage a nation? How do we expect to have true freedom if we care so little about ourselves let alone the families we will be creating?
Personally, I blame the educational system that makes students believe that grades are more important than efforts. So, we stay up all night committing into memory notes just to answer questions the next morning and that is it, we forget it all afterwards.
I am a victim who wants to be freed from this sickness. I just want to be productive as my forefathers to ensure my kids have a better life. I believe if everyone can make a difference starting from their homes.
A wise woman once said,

If you want to the world to be peaceful, go home and love your family.

Sort:

You are right we must change ourselves first before changing others. I want a saying "if you want to change others, then change yourself first".

Exactly my point. I am glad you get it @antobrampu

The right dosage for the day. Keep it up

@kwakumax

Teaching ourselves to create and give value to our communities is essential. Many of the people who walk past us don't know or see the value they can offer to the community. Not in the lofty and mighty things alone but in the simple mundane things.

We need people who add value.

You know. People who create value out of thin air.
Example you @kwakumax have created so much value on steemit in less than a year

Giving hope to newbies that simple things yield value over time

It's imperative to give hope to people because you never know what one might be going through. Life is never stable but we all can play our part to make it worth living. Thanks for the kind words @michaelaffare.

Yeah..we must concentrate on developing and building ourselves and instead of being myopic, we must plan ahead and devise strategies for achieving that.

And if those strategies fail, we repeat until we get exactly what we have envisioned.

i do agree with its not always the degree you had that matters , its your perseverance to to work hard to have a better life, or even the best. And it isnt always about money, its always about love

It so happens that i just posted about motivation too dear @kwakumax ❤️❤️❤️

I'm glad you love motivating yourself and others towards your goals @zephalexia.
I'll pass by your page.

We are okay with no money saved in the bank so long as we look dope in our designer outfits

Wow.... You blew my mind with this lines @kwakumax. I think of doing a post centered around that.

Its patheically funny that a lot of folks nowadays are more concerned more with their how others perceive them in terms of the latest piece of clothe they put on rather the structures (intellectual) they have built in there mind in other to be a person of value and thus make their sphere of contact better than they met it.

I love your perspective ....keep it up

I love that you see the truth also. Now let's work with it

You are so right @kwakumax. Our priorities have gotten so mixed up! If we had more young people thinking like you, our world would be a much better place for the generations to come
