You don’t need to know it all before you start. Just like when you entered the university, you didn’t know anything about your course of study. But overtime, through going for lectures and forming study groups to help improve on areas you had difficulty grasping concepts, you came out with something or an idea about your field of study. That is one system, the school system and that is how it works.
One major error that has been in effect for many years now is that the school system wasn’t built to accommodate everyone. No matter how it may look today, it is still not for everyone. There are countless number of people out there who are very good at swimming or boxing and their parents would expect them to learn physics and biology. What good is physics and biology to these individuals. They only feel dumb when in the midst of those who flow well with it. Don’t get me wrong here, there are others that will do just fine in the school system and they deserve to be there. It shouldn’t be forced down the throats of everyone. The great albert Einstein said and I quote
If you judge a fish by its inability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life thinking it is foolish.
If you believe you can do something to solve a problem, you don’t need a degree to give you permission to start. If you’ve got an idea about something great, get out there and start somewhere. Little by little, you will make it and millions will benefit from your decision to be more than who you are today.
Motivation is always good for the soul
In fact our educational system does not equip us enough to be on our own. that's why every year, several thousand graduates complete tertiary institutions only to join their seniors at home. The truth is, the government can't help us all. So the least our leaders can do is create an enabling environment for us to do our own thing.
