The life you portrait is the true reflection of what you are inside. You can never give what you don't have. Life is never fair but living your life in a suitable manner could make you avoid some unfair activities coming your way.
If I am trader of farm produce, no one in need of jewelries will come and patronize me rather, they will look for who sells what they actually want. What are you known for? what do people see you as? Whatever opinion people give about you is the true reflection of what you really are, either friends, family, neighbors etc.
Let me just tell you a little story; "my father never drinks alcohol and he never likes smoking. He brought my siblings and I that way, because it's what he is known for or what he portrait that he tried to inflict or will I say teach us that his offsprings" what he had was what he gave out, not just allowing us to know what drinking and smoking is but also he never allowed his friends that did such things to send us on errands to get such things.
This is a true replication of what I say that you can't give what you don't have. Many people even duplicate themselves where when they are with their families they are a particular kind of person, then when they are with friends another kind of person bumps out, and then when they are at work they are totally different people. Many people always tend to do things they are really not just because they want to please the world or just because they want to show off, it never works that way in any position. The questions we should be asking ourselves is our living our lives that people can learn? Are living the kind of life people can imitate?
Think it, be yourself, never change for who you aren't because many people are watching you
Have a blessed day.
