Weight Training's great influence to who you become PART 3

in #motivation7 years ago

In Part 2 I spoke about how weight training influenced a great posture by correcting some muscles that were strengthened in the wrong way (sitting with your head tilted forward on a computer does strengthen the muscles in a wrong way which causes you to have bad posture eventually).

Now has this posture effected my confidence and how I carry myself? Absolutely. Ever since I corrected my form I developed this ability to speak and breath with more confidence. How I carry myself now speaks alot of pride and makes me feel more important in some cases. Some would say it's arrogance but then again it depends on where you draw the line. If someone did not like the way I spoke or walked or anything in that matter then it would not concern me. If what I was doing did no harm to anyone physically or verbally, then I have nothing to worry about. I started to believe I was the best at whatever I did, even if I was not good at all. I would put myself in pressure to make sure I did well or I go back and work harder at my craft.

This is all from the confidence I have developed when I slowly corrected my posture along with the muscle and strength I built up. I make sure that I am humble in all cases and respected everyone that respected me. Fixing my posture played that role in my life and more. There is still so much more to say about this and so many links I would like to connect to this topic but I will leave that for future posts.

Enjoy yourself and walk with confidence. Do not let people put you down just because they don't like what they see.
