Internal Motivation VS External Motivation.....

The biggest trouble for most people is they are externally motivated.

This means they focus on "things" exterior to them, such as cars, houses, clothes, technological know-how (computers/phones), video games etc. Whilst all people is guilty of this to a certain degree, the pleasant people are internally motivated.

Internal motivation sounds new-age woo-woo so I'll explain what it is.

Say you have a burning want to fly. Or maybe you desire to go to the moon and see what it's like to stroll in zero gravity. Perhaps you are an artist. You should be a musician. Everyone has an underlying idea / ideal which makes their soul burn with passion. This is inner motivation.

In nearly each case of monumental success (epoch defining), we find one core ideal mendacity at the coronary heart of the individual's wish to danger their whole lifestyles upon a collection of events that lead up to the eventual success of their goal. Some of the extra pertinent would be Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Hannibal and even Hitler.

To take these examples, we can genuinely observe them as we would different people...

Alexander wanted to see what lay past the "outer ocean". Ancient Greeks believed the world was in actuality a donut with a huge "outer ocean" surrounding the land (they of course had now not located the Americas or the poles at this point). His conquests were sincerely his way of trying to get to this ocean and see what lay beyond.

Caesar desired to be like Alexander. A vain and formidable man, we already know that he was as shrewd political operator. Born into a demi noble (patrician) family 50+ years before Jesus, many contemporaries described him as arrogant. It wasn't till he was once 32, however, that Caesar encountered a statue of Alexander the Great when he was once provider as Quaestor in Spain. It is stated (by Plutarch) that Caesar broke down and wept - when confronted, he responded "I have no longer simply reason to weep, when I think about that Alexander at my age had conquered so many nations, and I have all this time executed nothing that is memorable?". Shortly afterwards, he lower back to Rome to pursue higher political aspirations.

Hannibal invaded Italy in an strive to subdue the fledgling Roman city state. In a time simply after Alexander the Great, and round 150/200 years earlier than Julius Caesar, Hannibal's "Second Punic War" was a massive upset in the region. Despite being satisfactory recognised for taking an military - with elephants - over the Alps, Hannibal's army victories a ways outshine this beautiful feat. However, it would not have been viable had it now not been for his father - Hamilcar Barca - who pressured Hannibal to swear that he would damage Rome when he was simply 6 years old. Obviously, the young Hannibal took his oath to heart.

Adolf Hitler is interesting. Firstly, the raving madman many humans appear him to be is a false post-war propaganda play. When you seem at the man, you see any individual fraught with internal combat and a longing for acceptance in a world where he felt he used to be "special". What's necessary about Hitler is the way in which his political ascent used to be caused via his time on the Western Front. Upon listening to of the armistice in 1918, he used to be fraught with despair. Whilst this "trigger" was once interesting, what really lay at the root of his trip used to be an opera called Rienzi. The unique manuscript has been misplaced (Hitler owned it and it was once misplaced after the war)... but from what we know, it's Wagner's story about how a lowly Roman Plebian rose through the ranks of a corrupt authorities to lift his populace out of servitude.

The factor of all this is that at the core of ALL large success lies an underlying "trigger". This set off is generally the ignition for something a whole lot deeper. This deeper perfect is what you simply desire but have either been instructed - or in many instances have identified your self - as being some thing you can "never do". In different words, the "trigger" offers you a justification to without a doubt pursue your actual intentions.

The first step to turning into majorly profitable is to first apprehend what you REALLY favor out of life. As mentioned, if you prefer to "fly", there are many "ways" through which this can be achieved... turning into a pilot being one.

As most humans never spend 2 minutes wondering about this kind of thing, they by no means supply themselves permission to think about it at all. This is why they stay lives of silent desperation... eating until they die.

Indeed, our contemporary world - devoid of heroes like they had in Ancient Greece - is now centered squarely on making as many humans as high-powered shoppers as possible. Everything will be exceptional simply as long as you are a exact tax & debt slave.

If you choose to achieve monumental success, you WILL have to do "the work". Of that, there is no doubt.

However, if you want to be one of the "few" who truly make it, you need to think about what you honestly want. This is no longer something logical... you can't certainly "say" what it is. It's just a feeling you have. Again, all of us has one - the question is whether or not you have the braveness to deliver it to reality.
