Hello Steemians, it feels great having to motivate you this morning.
I have heard people search the net countkess times, looking for how to discover their purpose, or how to know God's calling upon their lives. That's secondary!
Before you can discover what God has called you to do, or reach your full potential, you've got to find a lasting basis on which to buikd your self-worth.
By the time you reached twelve, you'd already lived 4,380 days, and been molded by the words you'd heard-and in some cases, the ones you should have heard, and didn't.
Stop and ask yourself today, "How do i really feel about myself?"
Before you answer, read/follow and practice these ten principles. Better yet, put them somewhere you can read them everyday.
- Never think or speak negatively about yourself, for that puts you in disagreement with God.
- Meditate on your strengths and learn to encourage yourself-for most of the time, nobidy else will.
- Don't compare yourself to anybody else. You are unique, one-of-a-kind, an original, so don't settle for being a cooy.
- Focus on your potential, not your limitations. Remember, God lives in you.
- Find something you like and do well, and strive to do it with excellence.
- Have the courage to be different; God-pleaser, not a people-pleaser.
- Learn to handle criticism; let it develop you insteadof discourage you.
- Determine your own worth-before others do it for you.
- Keep your shortcomings in perspective-you're still a work in progress.
- Focus daily on your greatest source of confidence-God.
If you can meditate on these principles daily, i can guarantee you, tour self esteem will jack back uo to life, and there is nobody thats ever gonna be confident pulling down your self-worth.
Have a lovely weekend.
