While you dream of starting something bigger and better than Facebook or of building something that will outclass Microsoft by far, another dreams of working with Facebook or Microsoft.
We don't all have the same dreams. We all don't want to be entrepreneurs and CEOs. We all don't want to be Zuckerberg, Gates, Musk, Dangote or Alakija. Some people just simply want to work with/for them. And to them, this is a very big dream.
Not everyone wants to be self-employed. Not everyone wants to be the brain behind an organization or business. Some people are content working for others. And there is nothing at all wrong with this.
People who have decided to help flourish what others planted are not lazy people devoid of the ability to dream big. They are not mediocre. If we all become entrepreneurs, who would be there to build up the enterprises and keep them running?
I want to write books; own farms, businesses and schools; etc. But I'll still gladly jump at the opportunity to spend my time working on projects I'm passionate about for the UN or any other International Organization.
Not everyone is passionate about creating a new thing. Some people want to work with what already exists. We won't all be entrepreneurs. We don't all want to be.
Stop looking down on others and accusing them of not dreaming big enough because they do not want the same things that you do. Really, who are you to define what is "big" for another?
We are all great in our own ways.
Thank You!
