Take a look at my outer appearance
It's so cool, you can call it perfect
But I am a contradiction, as we all are -
Perfectly imperfect
My eyes - the window to my unbalanced soul
Sometimes betrays my outer composure
Take a 'look' at my heart very well
You can see my trials
Only if you could rip it right open
My scars, my tears
They all tell a story -
A story unknown to the world
My head is filled with wishes
But I am learning to accept that I am more than I appear
I am letting my soul soar to beautiful skies
I am letting my mind create beautiful images of my fantasy
But sometimes I need rest
The embers in my passion still smolders my heart
Perhaps, I will let my appearance go wild
I will wear my favorite color, black
Then my heart, my appearance and my cloth will go in the same direction
And there will no longer be contradiction
Then I will be Perfectly Imperfect
But I know that is how life is
Life is unpredictable and rightly so
It doesn't mean I have to be perfect
It only shows I am peculiar just the way I am
