I like the sentiement of taking responsibility for yourself. This seems a bit lacking at times. And, as you mention, it your life to own, so the responsiblity lies with you. Developing a hunger to accomplish your dreams seems orthogonal though. It's not clear to me how they're related. It seems like someone can be responsible but still not be driven. Perhaps I just misunderstand the quote.
