The chants of the holy verses of the Qur'an sounded sweet from the mosques around where I lived. It feels like the month of Ramadan. Before the breaking time is always always busy by chanting verses of the holy al-quran, solawat and pengajian mothers complex.
That afternoon I just got home from work. The sound kept me drifting along the long drive to the kostan. I do not want to hurry up. I have been hypnotized with that voice, a more beautiful voice than poetry, more beautiful than poet poetry, more touching than today's teenage songs. "So miss ramadhan", I muttered to myself.
Lose the body that began to collapse this. tired after working all day. But the tiredness paid off with the passionate longing for the moon. A highly anticipated month. Especially if not Syahru Ramadan. I reached the mobile phone that was in unison with me. I opened a WhatsApp message that has been stacked to 36 messages. But this hand hurriedly opened one of the groups that read Bi Gi's name. I scribbled letters to the letter, and word for word arranged into a sentence. "Rindu Ramadan".
Not only stop there, my colleagues also commented. Given the times when nyantri in Cendikia. They are my arms companion who accompanied me twice a month of ramadan in the dorm. Aahhh too beautiful if I have to forget them and him. He? Yaa Who else if not the month of Ramadan.
My lips smiled sweetly reading sentences after sentence that appeared on the screen only a few centimeters. Still with those who used to. Joking laughter though via WhatsApp, but the beauty is amazing. A passionate longing can be channeled even though no end. Hopefully someday God will bring us back in a more beautiful place. If not in the world, then where else if not in the afterlife. Why not?
