Procrastination is a thief, not just of time but of our peace of mind, our potential, self esteem and the biggest thief of success. It is very deceptive and we can only defeat it by becoming a "now" person. When we put off things, they aggravate us. We may not even be consciously aware of it but unfinished projects pressurize us. Procrastination never makes us feel good. It is very deceptive, always telling us we are going to do the right thing. It justifies inactivity. The small habit of procrastination creates small problems eventually leads to bigger problems. Procrastination is fun until reality sets in.

You can form the habit of becoming a "now" person, one who does what needs to be done as soon as possible. All truly successful people have this habit. We don't become successful by putting things off.
Someone once said, "When there is a hill to climb, don't think that waiting will make it smaller."
So whenever the lullaby of "Go to sleep; everything will be fine", remember that everything will NOT be fine if you keep putting off what needs to be done. And the tasks won't get done by themselves, they're not going away if you don't do anything about them.
Time works with integrity and if we truly want to live to our utmost potential, then we have to defeat procrastination. The best way to do that is to quit talking and start doing. Start forming good habits and soon they'd outnumber the bad ones and our value to our family, friends and society at large will increase exponentially.
Don't wait to 'feel' like doing a thing to do it, live by DECISIONS, not EMOTIONS. Just do it.
You are more powerful than you realize. God has given you free will and that means you can do what is right and nothing will stop you. And when you decide to do so He joins forces with you and victory is assured.
