Broken Heart
Sweet as honey
Loves so carelessly
Are you a curse ?
For making my heart burst.
It’s painful, I guess?
You’re just a guess
Now feeling in vain
Trying to get the pain.

Analysis of the poem:
The rhythmical pattern of the poem is iamb tetra meter in which there are one weak and one strong. It is a free-verse type of a poem with a rhyming scheme of a, a, b, b each stanza.
The poem is about the broken hearted girl who loved truly to a man who just treated her like a toy, remember that saying “Sa una lang masaya.” but in the end it will lead to bitterness. On the second stanza, the girl is trying to get over to the man and move on.
It is my first time to see a poem here with explanation. Superb!!!! Thank you for sharing this.
thank you for the compliment :)
