RE: 5 factors that affect whales' decision to upvote

in #motivational8 years ago

Hi @dmitriybtc and thanks for the helpful tips. While the idea of writing and building a following is not new, Steemit is. And like every new platform, they each have their own way of doing things (or the same way of doing things with a different title). As a newbie here, I'm excited about the possibilities - but as an old writer, I wonder if the whales (whoever they are) will keep this site sustainable.
Anyway - thank you for the information. I'm looking forward to reading more from you. Have a great weekend!

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I really appreciate that. Of course every new thing has to survive the phase of just becoming popular and smoothly transition to the stage of being used by every person possible, with experience in blogging or cryptocurrency or without it.

Here is an interesting thought about what the whales are thinking: https://steemit.com/steemit-whales/@timcliff/steemit-whale-psychology-theory

Hey there @timcliff - thank you for the link. I look forward to reading it and hopefully throw out a good fishing line. Damn the torpedoes - full steam ahead! lol
