You always feel less intelligent when you're with friends?
Do you feel embarrassed when you don't know the answer to a question you're been asked??
Of course, you can't know everything, there are times in a man's life when he feels like he doesn't know anything... Trust me, no matter how smart you're, you can still become more intelligent today if you actively focus on improving the ability that promotes the capacity of your mind...
#1. IMPROVE YOUR MINDSET:
The ability to recall things so quick and well is considered as intelligence, knowing what to do at the right time... Observing or paying attention is not enough.. The key is to secure information, associating those things you remember with what you want to memorize... Associating current information, observation or data with old memories would even make it easier to learn in comparison to creating new memories... Rehears and soon you'll improve new technique to learn and retain latest information faster... You'll find it difficult when you start at first but never the less, you'll get there if only you focus... Only the first attempt is the hardest..
BE MORE FASTIDIOUS:
You're surprise some people know so much.. Brilliant memory skill are only part of the answer; one thing you have to do is to be fastidious. If you feel very well okay with less understanding then you not doing well to yourself, you're been unfamiliar and you won't learn much..
Make a conscious effort to be more curious by reminding yourself that developing your curiosity will broaden your horizons and help to make you more intelligent...
EXERCISE THE BRAIN:
It is certain that, most of us today are very comfortable at the things we excel naturally or the activities we involve ourselves into everyday... Be courageous and put yourself to a test.. Try doing something different, learn a new skill, think different but positive.. Choose a different thing to start doing.. e.g: try to study the subject you don't know too well (maybe Math) focus on that subject.. Yes! You'll be very uncomfortable and would even feel less intelligent than you use too.. But if you're more diligent and put in more effort to your study you'll become more confident of yourself, However you'll become more intelligent and make good and positive connections with your mind..
MEDITATE:
Naturally, meditating is important because it helps improve other aspect and habits mentioned in this and many other improvement article.. I recently made a research and found out that meditation has scientifically proven that meditating will help improve your concentration but also make you feel happier and joyful..
6 ways on how to meditate:
#1. Choose a peaceful environment
#2. Wear comfortable cloths
#3. Set a time duration you wish to spend
#4. Stretch out
#5. Sit in a more comfortable position
#6. Close your eyes
Now you can meditate..
Observe your breath, like inhaling and exhaling cycles and gap between them..
Belly movement etc...
