WHY THE GOVERNMENT WILL NEVER BE MY FRIEND

national-assembly.JPG

Its been a few years since the present government of Nigeria took over power. Other countries have recently had political transitions too. One thing that is very obvious is the fact that most people have grudges against the government.

During times like this, it's easy to get sucked into the media hype of "change" and forget something fundamental:

You're the engine of of your life!

No politician or government can change your life. They might bribe you for your vote during elections, but you'll get screwed.

You can only count on yourself with whatever relationships you've built and knowledge you've gathered. You can't let yourself down.

Notice that I used the word "you". It's your responsibility to build your life, to hack your way to prosperity and happiness.

It frightens me when I see how young people allow themselves to be used by politicians who are notorious for making empty promises. Maybe they should talk with older people who have repeatedly witnessed the turn of events in the political landscape.

The louder the noise of any government, the lesser the output.

Stay motivated!

Is necessary, not only in your country, to have voices like yours, voices to make the people think by theirselves, to make the people take the reins of their lives, without waiting for a government in turn to solve everything!

Thanks. Kindly resteem to enhance this awareness. Cheers

Of course! All the best!

This write-up needs to go places, i am resteeming it for that purpose.

Thanks a lot. Lets steemit.

Bless you for this post. This is true of most governments, and for you to have learned it so young is a real credit to you.

I could have written a nearly identical post about the American government, especially our current administration.

Re: The louder the noise of any government, the lesser the output.

Yes. This. In spades.

I wish you the best and I'll be interested to see what you come up with in the future. But for now, in this post, we see eye to eye.
