I got to drive around in a mine down in kansas city years ago , but there were too many security guards to have any fun with it.

I think this is one of the main differences with South East Asia and the West :)

Nice! Do you have any more details about the location? I'd like to check this out next time I'm in Kanchanaburi.

I am not sure of the exact name. I'll try and ask my friend. Its on the backside of one of the national parks there and has a ranger gate/barrier at one of the junctions you turn off at. This trip was the start of the year. Some other guys I ride with have been since then and both groups weren't allowed it. Think the last was few weeks after Songkran. Do you ride?

Ahh ok! I saw some Thai writing on one of your pictures so I'll translate it and see what it brings up.

Usually I do - I bought a CRF250 but sold it when I moved to Bangkok. Looking for something else now.

Cool I have the CRF250R- but its not road legal since its the motocross version. The road version is just as good for enduro though. The words on the sign, I think its the name so u might get something. I might go back over summer so let me know if you get any feedback. I don't want a wasted trip all the way out there haha.

Nice, it's the M I bought (it was black and red). Planned to buy the offroad wheels for it too but never got around to it.

Haha yeh I'll let you know.

Nice. Yeah the offroad tires really work well in the dirt, but opposite on the road lol The tires that come on the L are pretty good for both- kinda in between- all terrain tire.

I learnt the hard way that I shouldn't of taken those tires off-road. Went in to the jungle on Koh Chang, slipped on some rock, crashed it and broke my hand.

This looks amazing!! I used to be well into motocross when I was young and would love to have done something like this :) Really enjoyed the post dude - dropping a follow :)

Thanks a lot. It's never to late- can always ride slow and safe. Following you too- liking the outdoor and animal topics you got.
