Rumors joined the Malaysian racer, Hafiz Syahrin, in MotoGP find a bright spot. Tech 3 Yamaha racing team officially announced Syahrin take the second pre-test.
Tech 3 team boss, Herve Poncharal, said that it is very happy to entrust Hafiz Syahrin to appear in pre-season MotoGP tests at Buriram Circuit, Thailand. It is a positive signal Syahrin will be a substitute Jonas Folger for 2018 MotoGP.
"I am very pleased and honored to have the opportunity to ask Hafiz Syahrin to perform with us for a pre-season test at the Buriram Circuit," said Herve Poncharal” on Tuesday (6th February 2018). "As everyone knows, because Jonas Folger decides that he can not race on MotoGP 2018, we've been looking for who's the right replacement racer,"
However, Herve Poncharal, claiming it has not obtained the certainty of Hafiz Syahrin as permanent racer in his team for the 2018 season. The certainty, Poncharal said, can only be obtained after a preseason test at Buriram Circuit, Thailand.
