Safety first! This seminar is about the basic law and how to be a better rider.
Mr. JB Bolanos is the speaker.
Here are some of the things I learned.
- Let to admit if you are wrong it is the start of change
- It is not written it is not illegal. - With that being said you need to be aware of the law. Ask around other riders are open about sharing what they know. It is said that only .25% of riders understand the law.
- Don't argue with the enforcer. - Let them issue the ticket and if you are right, contest in the right venue.
- Laws are made to be followed and can still be challenged. - It can still be improved to better serve everyone using the road and not just the riders.
Additional must remember stuff
- Your side mirror must fit 4 fingers. If not, you can be given a fine.
- If you signal to turn or swerve, the other must give you right of way.
- Headlights should always be on for visibility.
- The tail light should be red and must not be blinking
- Auxilary lights are okay as long as there is a need for it and the placement is okay
This is actually very helpful for those people who used to ride in Habal-habal and also awareness for the drivers. =)
Thanks! I have added the things we have discussed during the seminar. I'm glad that you think this is helpful! ^_^
