Welcome back, last time we saw our heroes:
Waiting on the edge of the Evergreen Forest, Captain Planet and Matí observe the Watchers. Unsure of their true power, they had been warned that one touch would be deadly. Only an enchanted sword would do the job, and that just wasn't Captain Planet's style, much less the bearer of the heart ring. They were just thinking about a plan to fly overhead and out of reach when Matí had a great idea.
'Captain Planet, we need a way to fly over with out being seen!'
Captain Planet had just such a way, and he drew huge breaths ever deeper into his lungs until...
he expellled it with such force that he raised a dust storm across the nightflame.
The wind quickly picked up the Captain's intentions, and followed along, the soil too, seeming to lift itself up into the air to serve the whims of the protecter of Life.
'That will do it Captain!' said Matí happily!
The Captain agreed, and seemed pleased that the elements were responding to him similiarly here on Eternia as they had back on Earth.
'Well, lets get up into the air and over this nightflame before this dust settles. Forests were one thing, but undead enchantments seemed like they were outside of the Captain's series.
Matí held on tight to Captain Planet's back as they flew up into the dust storm. 'Take a deep breath!'
They held their breath for a moment, but soon came out the other side, high above the nightflame and the Watchers. As they looked down, they saw a sure sight to behold, the very powers of nature had come out to attack the Watchers!
Wild and savage turtles appeared to be ripping the Watchers to shreds!
'Incredible work Matí!' said Captain Planet, thinking that Matí must have charmed some wild Eternian turtles with her heart ring. Matí sat silently, confused, not sure what it was the turtles were responding to nor what had got them into such a frenzy.
As they continued on, they passed over a swamp, full of life and danger. Looking down, Matí saw other unusual savagry inflicted on one particularly large, dead mosquito.
Matí turned away. She couldn't bear seeing any more dead animals, even if some would call them villians. She had always dedicated her life to protecting animals and other living creatures, and now she only hoped to arrive quickly to their next stop in Windmere.
As the great city appeared in the distance, Gaia appeared in front of them, floating on air.
'You are just a bit behind my ecological duo! Sorcerous Julia sends updated instructions!'
In Wildmere, find Orko. For one token each he will show you how to navigate the Vine Jungle safely so that you can reach Gorthlindir. If you don’t have a token you will need to make your own way there, watching out for Beast Man and his friends the Snake Men
Upon entering Gorthlindir, you will need to search the temples and pyramids for King Stratos and the Egg of Avion. Watch out for traps and mazes that are difficult to escape from. They have been set by Entrapa and Evil Lyn who are keeping the King Stratos captive. Look out for your fellow heroes. They may need your help.
You have seven days to complete this mission.
Then, Gaia disappeared, and Captain Planet and Mati landed softly on the ground. They were at the outskirts of Windmere, a bit behind schedule but ready to look out for other heroes, perhaps the three brave and helpful heroines were up ahead in need of their help!
Will these strange animal anomalies ever be explained?

Part 2
Nice one. Good use of a dust storm to evade evil forces.
I love your advanced photoshop skills too.😁
So advanced! I have gimp and its high up on the list of things to learn, but when Julia calls sometimes you have to pump one out!
Awesome story man, I like how the turtles were ravaging the undead creatures. Maybe we need to use our cunning instead of our swords.
Hey lets hook up before beast man, my planeteer can talk to animals with her heart ring!
Hello Ecoinstant
Not sure what your first name is but I wanted to thank you for posting yourself as a follower on my blog @pjbnikao 17 days ago. I just posted my second blog and would appreciate your input. Your passion for the superheroes is interesting. It recently has occured to me that the Jesus of the Bible is the comic book version of the super heroes that got institutionalized.
All these legends and myths and stories... where do they come from and why do they hold such a psychic grip on the imagination of the humanity. Look forward to hearing from on my second post!!! Have a great day. Phil
Hello Phil! My name is Alex and I appreciate you reaching out to me! I am reading your article right now - and have been considering these philosophical questions a lot lately especially concerning religious violence and how it relates to dogmatic truth vs personal interpretation.
See you over there on your blog!
