This is a summary of the many times that I've uploaded to my favorite mountain, the mountain of my city, the mountain that provides us with clean air and recreation for those that we like to practice outdoor activities such as mountain climbing. Is locatd in Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela and form part of the mountain chain of the Andes.

The following picture is peak where as a sign of a cross, in this place the height is 2765 meters above the sea level.
The peak is located approximately 20 minutes from base camp and both sunrises and sunsets; if and when the weather permits, are a spectacle of colors since the sun rises until it lies on the horizon. Incredible! watching a side the city of Caracas and other Caribbean Sea and part of the Vargas State and la Guaira.
The following picture was taken from a Gopro Hero 2 and they can see the sun rise.
Video where also can see dawn along with several people who come early to appreciate this gift of nature.
Part of the rise that I enjoy very much as reach the peak is the enjoyment in the base camp, where between conversations while preparing food or hot drink is passed a pleasant moment, in the next picture you can see part of what the base camp called amphitheatre.
A good coffee, chocolate, oats or a you hot is a relief for the cold to which many are not accustomed, at this point in this place the temperature can drop to 2 ° C at night and dawn and may this make you a not very pleasant night. I recommend sleeping bag, insulated and tent for this type of environment.
I have many videos reaching the base camp, here I leave one on my Youtube account can subscribe and see more. After approximately 8 hours of mountain climbing, reaching this place makes you feel like at your home.
The following picture was taken with my camera Gopro hero 2, nothing totally filter the camera and it was impressive that could capture in a sunset before hiding the Sun between mountains.
I finally leave two photographs of sharing with colleagues and friends. I hope to feel tempted to climb this mountain that for many is our second home.
