11 thousand feet elevation.
Last erupted in 1992.
Driftwood remains from a long ago flood.

Yikes ... 1992. That is not too long ago. A dangerous beauty:)
I didn't see Spurr but I did experience ๐ Mount Redoubts last
eruption in 2009 and got to see Mount Augustine steaming 2006
Redouble still steams, it can be seen sometimes on the web cams! :-)
Floating white mountains in the sky! They are not real, canโt be! Too enormous to be floating in the sky!

Spurr looks like how I expect a volcano to look. 50 miles is awfully close. I hope it stays happy and content!
I hope they all do stay content, there is at least
four of them with in range, five, and six could
be troublesome, ever hear of ๐ Katmai and the
valley of 10,000 smokes!? :-)
