I'm quite familiar with them because of Marvel's recent push to promote Inhumans in lieu of the X-Men, since they weren't able to get the rights back from Fox. They aren't able to capture that same magic, so I was surprised when they decided to continue the TV project. When I heard it was being held by Scott Buck, who at the time was running the yet to air Iron Fist, I had high hopes. I mean, why would they give one person two high-profile properties if they didn't have faith in him, right?
After the disappointment that was Iron Fist, I just knew Inhumans was going to bomb. It's a shame that they didn't tie it directly to the Inhumans that AoS had already established. Get (the) Buck out, I say! The common thread between two dismal outputs.
I had no idea Buck was involved until after I paid to see it. It suffered from some of the same problems as Iron Fist. Too many boring meetings...
Ugh... I can wait to see that then. I don't know why it is, but Buck has been missing everything ever since the last seasons of Dexter. I had high hopes for him, too. But, with everything, I really wish he would just stay out of comic book properties.
