Wonder Woman

Hello my Steemian friends, in this post I'm going to do a brief review of the Wonder Woman movie.

Last night I went to the movie theater to watch Wonder Woman. The movie begins with a voice-over that talks about darkness, with a lugubrious background music (composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams), and an aerial view of the Louvre museum indicating that something sinister is about to happen. Any member of the audience is forgiven for feeling a chill.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, he soon gets rid of the mandatory elements of a blockbuster movie and allows himself to be somewhat infrequent in the current universe of superheroes; It feels less like one of the many parts of a sequence of apocalyptic problems that serve as opportunities to market toys and more like a pretty good movie.

I mean Wonder Woman tells an interesting story and not necessarily predictable. It intelligently combines various genre elements to become quite refreshing, emotive and fun.

First of all, the film is a story about the origins of the character that establishes the mythical background and the modern missions of the protagonist. The best thing is that the Wonder Woman maintains the glamor and the fun, in spite of being out of the environment to which it is accustomed.

Jenkins and Heinberg were able to synthesize a modern and plausible archetype from film sources and comics that were perhaps problematic for current sensitivities.

However, Wonder Woman resists that cult of power that makes so many other films of the genre - both DC and Marvel - feel like teenage affectations. Unlike most of her male counterparts, this heroine does not need to exorcise her demons or deal with messianic complexes. She wants to be able to function freely in the world, to help those who need her and to respect her for her abilities.

This movie is amazing! Please vote & comment!

Regards, Antonio.

took my daughter to see it, she loved it, and so did I. As visually stunning as Wonder Woman was, it really was her strong, yet nurturing personality that stole my heart for those few false moments in that theatre.

I loved this movie as well. It's a wonderful take on the character after, I felt, years of her going in the wrong direction.
