What's up dear Steemians?👋
Weekend is coming! And also winter in Germany... (A big thanks to myself for the persistent earworm I have now...😄 )
Perfect time for a nice movie, right? A cup of tea or hot chocolate, some yummy snacks and a warm and soft blanket to cuddle up. But why just watch senseless or boring movies? Why not have fun watching a movie AND learn something about life or get touched by a deep and emotional story?
My husband and me live in a three room apartment and recently decided to make the smallest room our own little private cinema. We build a cosy corner and bought a Playstation 4 and a beamer. The beamer was only about 50 Euros and it is even able to project HD movies and games! That's so super cool!(My husband bought it on amazon)
You guys surely believe how much fun it is to watch and play on 2 x 1,5 m! The feeling of having our own cinema and gaming room is like a childhood dream coming true!
Here is a picture of it I made while playing „The Witcher 3“ (I love this game!!)
As you might already guess I had to take the photo with the lights out, as the beamer dosen't really like bright light 😉
So inspired by our new favourite room I present you 10 very deep and touching movies for your perfect movie weekend.
I hope you enjoy!

But one day the good times turn into a nightmare when Maybelle gets diagnosed with cancer. Elise and Didier have to be strong for their child but feel so weak and hopeless at the same time that they seem to more and more lose themselves and each other. One of the most touching movies I have ever seen. And the music is simply amazing. So worth watching!
Dead Poets Society
A really inspiring movie about a very respected and strict school which teaches old and boring knowledge to it's students. But everything gets upside down when new teacher John Keating encourages his students to think differently, life their own lifes, chase their dreams and initiates them into poetry. The class more and more starts to question the strict school system and the plans their parents had for them and thanks to Keating begin to rebell and think about what THEY want. The young people who are now freespirited and defy their parents instead of being plain and obedient, find more and more ways to express themselves and be truly happy. To the annoyance of the principal and the families of the students who get more and more nervous.
Robin Williams who plays John Keating made such a brilliant job while playing his role! A movie that touches you deep inside your heart and makes you question yourself: Am I really living MY life?

A very emotional and super funny story. The actors play their roles so authentic!
