My my... Where do I start from?
Anne with an E is such a wonderful movie with a great plot!
How come I waited so long to see it?

Well, I finally did! And my did I fall in love with Anne😍😍

I fell so much in love with this series and decided there's no way I'm not writing a review about it.

The plot is about a young orphaned girl who got adopted by the good ol' Cuthberts - siblings who never got married.

Anne is someone with the wildest imagination and is one of those kids who never stop talking - like literally!

Played by Amybeth McNulty, the story revolves around the life of Anne after she was 'mistakenly adopted'.

We would see how Anne navigates through several challenges life throws at her including working her way to being a accepted in school and by the people of Avonlea.

The story is actually the reimagining of the classic book with the same title, but it definitely wasn't another boring ol' novel turned into a movie.

This is because Anne was every bit charming and her way with words would definitely keep you glued to your screen.

With this series, we didn't get your everyday perfect character drawn out of a dream. Instead, we got a bare faced girl whose face was literally covered with freckles almost throughout the series.

Well, as earlier stated, the movie revolves around Anne's life in Avonlea but in the process, this series touched basically every important issue that occurs in modern day. There were events dedicated to human rights, gender equality, lgbtq and even racism... This series had that and much more.

Then there's the most amazing part!!!😍😍

One thing I really loved about this movie is how it showcased LOVE in so many dimensions. Anne with an E is definitely a love story, but not the conventional love we're mostly used to seeing in movies. This was different.

We would get to experience different kinds of love that is formed between friends as in the case of Anne and Diana. These two had undying love for each other and it was beautiful to watch.

There was also the family love between the Cuthberts who were acting like old couples. These two literally forsook their lovers and ended up spending the rest of their lives together. There's also the pure love they had for Anne. It literally broke my heart seeing Matthew cry when Anne had to go for college, or was it when he had to go all the way to Charlotte town to get a dress for Anne - one that had puffed sleeves😂😂

Oh, there was also the love Anne had for those around her where she literally didn't mind getting into trouble several times (and she sure did) just to help someone who is in need.

Of course, there was romantic love as we would see between Bash and Mary, and then between Anne and Gilbert, even though it seemed as if the unseen powers of the universe really really wanted those two not to be together! 😒😒
Like... Anne, how could you tear Gilbert's letter before even reading it! 🙄🙄 (sorry, spoiler there🤭)
But all in all... This series was all shades of amazing and beautiful and it's a definite MUST WATCH!
