I recently went to a fan screening of Alien: Covenant then completely forgot to write my review.
Since I love the Alien franchise, I will not be spoiling the plot for the sake of those who are a fan of the horror genre and to retain the suspense for those who will be watching the movie.
I definitely love the suspense and the violence in this film, which is definitely what the Alien Franchise is all about. This is what you call a real Horror Movie.
Those who are accusing that they are trying to recreate Sigourney Weaver's Ripley got it all wrong. This film and its characters are unique as it is and it gave a new perspective on the Alien universe.
Another thing that I noticed in this film is the difference between the cinematography between Covenant to all the earlier films from the franchise. The entire film is worthy of becoming a wallpaper background.
Even the effects feels a little more advance, but then again rendering technologies had vastly improve through the years so I am not surprise.
Would I want a sequel? Both a yes and no.
Yes, because I love the horror genre. No, because this franchise is beautiful as it is.
Yes, i believe the world elite who controll Hollywood tries to prepare mankind of the return of the fallen angels which are located in anartica. 2017 is the year of disclosure!!

I loved it-- and you picked a great screenshot. I saw it last night--- beautiful cinematography. The opening shot is fantastic-- I loved the setup of these amazing works of art in this unassuming yet, sophisticated, room. The writing was superb. "What is your name?" "David." We saw what might be coming, and hoped it wasn't so as the film reached its climax, and yet the ending was absolutely perfect, wasn't it? Just the right amount of horror, beautiful and thought-provoking-- an excellent film. Loved it.
