Trailer Review - A Quiet Place

Never Make A Sound

Its been a while since a trailer has made me want to see a movie, this is most definitely that kind of film.

It really has the feel of a M. Night Shyamalan style movie, like The Village or Signs, two really great movies if you haven't seen them However this is actually directed by one of the lead actors, John Krasinski, who plays the role father. He is pretty new to the directors chair and this will be his second time at the wheel, I it really looks like he knows what he is doing.

I have not watched a movie that has actually scared me in a few years, everything seems to have been done and then redone way too many times. I think it is like trying to tickle yourself, because once you're been scared by everything it just stops being scary. The film has been categorized under horror, but it has much more of a suspense thriller thing going on. The horror part will probably be revealed in the full movie, but for now the unknown will always be the best scare.

A Quiet Place gets a 9/10

We absolutely love scary movies in our house. Anything that is super suspenseful and might make you jump out of your skin is right up our alley. Even the kids are into the horror flicks. I will put this on out must watch list.
