It's like Pepper says, now after all this Tony Stark can finally rest, not be afraid anymore that he can't defend the earth. He has protected it, avanged it. I understand why he deserved his half happy end family story. But apart from that I still have one or the other theory how Iron Man will stay secondary still in the MCU, maybe i will tell it later.
Who of the original Avengers remains unexplained? Of course Cap! After a quiet minute at the end and saying goodbye to Tony it's time to bring the stones back to the point where they were removed. Not to leave the flow of time unchanged, that's never the point. They do this in order not to leave the different timelines they have created through their intervention, without protection, maybe against villians like Dormammu or more badass ones, because Thanos isn't the only badass endboss, there are far more powerful ones...
But Cap decides after having brought the hammer of Thor and the stones back to their places of origin and thus the timelines are no longer defenceless, for a different route than planned. He travels back to 1945 and finally after five years we find out which husband Peggy Carter actually talked about in Winter Soldier.
We remember, she said that the day Cap went into the ice, this action also saved the man who would later become her husband. In the pictures next to her bed we could saw her children and her, but not her husband. So it turns out here at the end of this film, for the last 70 years there have been two Captain America in the timeline.
How that can be and why it all makes sense I'll explain, because it seems that a lot of people really have enormous problems with the time travel topic, the time lines and the different universes in the MCU. When you understand how it works, then you will see how easy and simple it is. But especially the many Hollywood movies, in which time travel is thematized, confuse everything and everyone. As it is said in Endgame, you have to forget all explanations of time travel from all movies you know. Because they are often incomprehensible and too paradoxical.
Time travel and different dimensions in the MCU have always been a topic and are not new with Disney's acquisition, which many also think and thus believe that Disney would destroy Marvel. This is completely nonsense and not true. Time travel and dimension changes to other universes were introduced in the early years in the comics of Marvel and have always been an integral part of stories.
Tony death was a very sad moment for all marvel fans...as doctor strange gave him the last sign for the only way to stop everything...and he just stole the stones from thanos...and then the snap...😥😥
a hero's death in full honor :)
