This is a review on 2018's most awaited movie, Avengers: Infinity War.
To say that the things with the Avengers were left a little dicey in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War would be an understatement. With half the team now fugitives and the other half licking their wounds back at the newly minted Avengers compound, the team dynamics are decidedly in flux as we approach May’s highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War release. It's such a long wait, it almost feels like we're waiting forever!
But I must admit, the exclusive promised trailer did disappoint me a little. Okay, a lot! Not only did they betray us but they shortened the content that we already had! Yet nothing can beat my excitement for the movie.
Apparently, every character of the Marvel Cinematic Universe makes an appearance. Seriously: If you’re watching and you haven’t seen your favorite character yet, just give it another few seconds. The trailer also highlights Thanos , the purple villain who made his first appearance in the Avengers post credits sequence — it looks like he’s finally getting out of his big, dumb chair.
Also, the trailer hints at the death of some of the characters. It has been heavily implied during the promotion of this movie that many characters will be killed off or will retire
How do you guys feel about this?
feel like evidence hints that one of the characters is going to be vision. Remember how vision came to life by the mind stone? He has quite a few powers, including the ability to generate cells and shoot beams of energy. But those powers come from the Mind Stone, which is in his head. And Thanos, is after the six infinity stones. It appears the main plot of Infinity War will be the Avengers attempting to prevent The Villan from getting all of the stones. Presumably, they will fail, and Avengers 4 will feature Thanos with the fully-powered Infinity Gauntlet. But these are just my assumptions.
And one of the six Infinity Stones is the Mind Stone which comes from lokis staff, the very stone that gives Vision life and Thanos needs all of the stones to become powerful. In the course of the movie, even if he gets all the stones, he still needs the mind stone which is on Vision's head.
The new trailer shows the Mind Stone being ripped out of Vision’s head.
We don’t actually see the stone being removed in the trailer, but it seems like that’s about to happen. Vision cries out in pain as the stone is being taken and it is safe to assume that Vision will lose his powers without the stone.
This was literally the only thing going through my head when I was watching the trailer. It looks like Thanos is going to be a big threat this time. Shit is about to get serious this time you guys.
Some of the other intriguing questions that went through my head were
- How evil is Loki going to be this time?
- Will Thanos be worth the hype?
- How the hell does Thor end up with the Guardians of the Galaxy?
- Where is Valkyrie? (And Ant-Man, and Wasp, and Hawkeye, and ...)
- What can the Iron Spider suit do?
- Is Black Widow ever going to get her own movie?
- What do you guys think about this trailer?
