Heyho I just watched this movie recently and want to recommend it for you. "The Siege of Jadotville" tells the story of the "A" Company from the 35th Irish Army Battalion sent to Katanga Province (Congo) by UN to serve as Peacekeepers in Likasi (former Jadotville).
The lightly armed company "A" was besieged for six days in Jadotville and resisted the ongoing katangese assaults until they ran out of supplies.
I consider this movie as "worth to watch" because it does not only consist of battle and fighting scenes. Further more it describes the political behavior of the involved parties and manages to combine the contentious relationship between geo-political interests and armed conflicts. Another great fact which makes this movie not very common is the describing of the relationship between the two main opposing characters.
Conclusion: Underrated, but it's worth being watched.
