 Hello fellow steemians! One question for you, which one of you are addicted to a good movie 🎬 🎥 ?
This is @willk7 and this is Treasure Planet Project . 

Hello guys and gals of this magical kingdom called The Internet ! Are you okay today ? For the ones that don't know me, this is a original project of mine that i decided to implement some days. As you can see from the top it's called Treasure Planet Project and the goal is to talk about a movie quote or scene that i think that can teach us something ... or at least remember us a teaching that should be valued. I also write about how this quote is important to me in my life, always in the most funny and outgoing way possible. If you want to know more, click in the link on the top of this post.
But without further ado let's get going for the quote.

Story

I think bet that most of you, to not say everybody, knows the Rocky film series. You may not even like it, but you know it. It has one of some of the most famous soundtracks of all times. I dare you to listen to any of them and not have the urge of doing something exceptional.
But let me just make a quick summary:
Rocky was just your normal everyday man, a mediocre boxing fighter that struggled in life and worked as a "collector" of a loan shark. But everything changed when the world heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed, had the idea of giving an unknown the opportunity of a fight against him as a publicity stunt. Instead of being mesmerized or apprehensive about such an opportunity Rocky did the impossible, he turned the table. The match that should be just a publicity stunt became a fight that would change both of their lives forever.
For me, Rocky is the impersonation of the word fighter, never giving up and always chasing his goals. Because of that, there is no more appropriate teacher (in the movie world) for this life lesson.

Life Lesson

There are times in our lives that we just ask ourselves "Why is life so hard to me ?", "Why don't things just work with me ?", there are times that we even involve God, "why don't God help me?". There are many moments in our lives that are really tough. The lost of a loved one, facing a defeat, being left by someone special, being fired, not achieving a personal goal ... there are endless reasons for our lives to be hard, regardless if the reasonable or not. The important is the influence we feel over us and how we react to them.
Whenever i'm facing a overwhelming problem (or just a silly existential crises) i just remember two things. The first is this movie quote. The second is the two definitions for fear. Forget Everything And Run OR Face Everything And Rise. In a way i think they are almost the same thing. Everything in our lives is a matter of perspective, you can face a problem and see it as a impossible obstacle or you can see it as a challenge to be overcome, ether way you will have to face it.
You don't have to look for any reason to give up, life already gives you plenty. You just need to have one reason not to give in to this temptation, because you choose not to, because of yourself. If you ever want to be the person you dream to be one day then you just have to embrace the fact that you will have to swim against the tide. Be prepared to suffer sometimes, be prepared to take losses, be prepared to face the worst. And even if do all that it's not sure that you will succeed, but even if you do not reach your goal know that at least you did everything you could and that's reason to be proud. You faced your life with dignity and in my humble opinion, this counts more than any million you might won.
In a generation that we see so many unworthy people in so many positions of prestige, with money and power, without having to really work for it, many times we question ourselves if working hard is really the right way. My answer is always the same It may not the fastest way to success , but is the most rewarding one.

PS: Of course i didn't learn all that with just a movie, but it was the movie that made me start to think more about it. Sometimes we just need a little push to make us realize something is in front of us. That's why i like movies so much. They have a magical way to touch us.
