The guardians are back in the hood, in the space hood. Me and a friend went to the movies on my birthday last week and watched the sequel to the Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. After watching a movie, I always do some research on the internet and look for behind the scenes and extra footage and etc. I browsed review websites this time and visited the website rottentomatoes.com . There were some inaccurate or too harsh review in there. That's why I want to spare you guys time and write a short and cute Steemit exclusive review for my fellow Steemians. Don't worry , I won't spoil anything from the movie for you so feel free to read this article even if you did not see the movie. Maybe I can help you with the choice for your next trip to the cinema. Alright! Let's do this, shall we?
The movie is based on Marvel comics and is played in Marvel cinematic universe. This is where the avengers or the new Spider man movie which is coming soon takes place. The movie is about a group of criminals which are very unique and different to each other. You can see them as the space avengers however often with completely different motives and some times with very unorthodox methods. If you did not watch the first movie, I highly recommend it because you will learn to love these characters there and you get a rough idea how they act and why they act like that.
In this sequel comedy was a big part of the movie. I probably spent 1/3 of the movie laughing. The interaction between this group because of the uniqueness of every individual there is hilarious. However it was not only a comedy movie like Hangover. The film could make a good balance between comedy and Action but because of this the story suffered in this one. The film showed some insights of the protagonist's past, which is very interesting and answers a lot of questions but It was more about fun in this movie than deep Story lines. Another plus point for the movie were the visual effects. It was a huge block buster with stunning visuals and set ideas. James Gunn (the director) could achieve something which a lot of directors failed at. He was able to make a sequel which is at least just as good as the original. Respect!
