I can admit when I'm wrong. Avengers: Infinity War was good. I really didn't think they could pull it off but they managed to make a pretty satisfying chapter one to the end of an era. I didn't feel like any one character or group of characters hogged the spotlight too much. The action was well paced and had some of the old weight back from the first Avengers movie( The stakes really didn't come through for me in Age of Ultron). Josh Brolin does a great job as Thanos, and to be honest Thanos was one of the characters I was worried about most. He comes across as powerful but complex, and is one of the finest MCU villains to date. Even RDJ seemed to have a little of his pep back. I can't really talk about anything because this movie is one big spoiler waiting to happen.
Avengers: Infinity War is well worth the price of admission and should be seen on the biggest screen possible. Hats off to the team at Marvel Studios and all of the actors involved for sending the first era of the MCU out with a bang instead of the whimper I expected. Go see it as soon as possible because everyone at work and on the internet is going to be spoiling the hell out of it. Good luck getting tickets and thanks for reading!
