Here are some comparison shots of HDR10 content being played through samples of the new Panasonic UHD UB820 blu ray player. These were taken from an LG OLED tv with the panasonic hdr optimizer set to OLED mode which rolls off any clipping after 1000 nit level.
This player will reign champion because it will gently roll off the clipping points to preserve detail for tv's and projectors that can't get as bright as the mastering level of these new HDR films.
A big difference if I do say so myself. Just look at the super highlighted areas when the optimizer is off vs. on.
