Those words really got me thinking deeply. The words 'There's an ounce of truth in every myth' was said by one of the lead actors in the movie, Kraven. Although he said it while on an assassination mission inside the prison.
For someone like me, I like to hear every single word said in a movie I feel will be interesting so that I can understand it fully. That's what happened during the time I saw the movie. Although I know it's purely fictional, the latest inventions and evolution in the field of technology which made what looked impossible many decades ago become reality today has taken me to deep thinking.
The effect death can have on a family was made clear too. Being sons to a drug kingpin, the quiet life of these young brothers took another path after they lost their mom. Instead of being catered for by their dad, he wanted them to become like him and protect the 'family's business'. He started this by taking them along for hunting of wild animals.
That hunting expedition turned out to change the life of one of his sons completely. Getting attacked by a lion and being saved by some strange liquid potion by a stranger turned him into a super human. Low-key I wished I had some super powers then. At least I will bring back to life, my dead loved ones 😭. Well, at the hospital, he was confirmed to be clinically dead for 3 minutes but the effect of the potion he was given brought him back to life.
He came back to life and became someho like his father, except that he was not running a drug cartel but was willing to erase anyone who he saw as threat to humanity. Overtime though, that sense of justice didn't allow him to spare even the life of his father.
I must say it was an interesting movie although I have my reservations but I will recommend it to someone else so that in the future if a certain 'There's an ounce of truth in every myth' pops up, we can take our minds to the fact that sometimes our imaginations become reality with time. Have you seen the movie, what's your view about it?
