Kong: Skull Island; Why I hate this movie

in #movies7 years ago

The last time I watched a King Kong movie, I was still a teenager, and I loved the big giant animal… err wait what monster Kong was? Oh! Wait I remember it was a giant Monkey. Right?

To be exact Kong was a Gorilla. A big cute animal who fell in love with a girl and protected her.

Anyways enough with the past, we all know Peter Jackson made the best Kong movie. But today I want to talk about the new Kong movie that hit the theaters recently.

To be honest, I am not a film critic, and I hardly know anything about movies, directors, I don’t even know names of many of the actors.

Of course, I do know the familiar names. Good old Arnold, Jim Carry, and the top ones. And I do know Samuel L Jackson.
Yes, I know what he looks like, how he acts and what types of movies does. He is good, the movie he signs in end up making millions. In layman's terms, he his a billion dollar actor.

And I hate him.

I hate him, his acting and the way he is portrayed in every movie. Strong and like he is some kind of one man army.

In the latest Monster movie Kong: Skull Island he plays a no so sane Army man who ends up digging his own grave.

I am not going to reveal the story and spoil the movie for you. But I cannot stop myself from telling you that the story line is a big load of nothing.

Yes, nothing.

It is not even bullshit. The story is so poorly written that I feel like it was written by a 3-year-old kid who loves playing with his Gorilla toy.

The Story started off with a good start, but as soon as Samuel L Jackson takes up a few helicopters and ventures out to the Skull Island, the movie gets crappier.

King Kong being the animal that he intercepts the helicopters and kills a few men. Now the great writers of this film feed revenge into Samuel L Jacksons' character and the entire movie is about he goes above and beyond to find Kong and makes an attempt to kill him.

I use the word ‘effort’ because Samuel L Jacksons' character does not get the sweetness of getting revenge.

Why I am angry at this movie is that the producers had a chance to create something incredible with the story and probably do justice to the greatest giant in the film history.

I wonder why these producers didn’t pay much attention to the story, it is always about ripping cars, planes and destroying anything that is in between. I feel that they should have let us explore the exotic skull island instead of just showing a few large animals.

Well, enough of my rant. Please post your view in the comment section, and I will be happy to read and reply to each one of the comments you guys make.

I totally agree with you. That movie stole two hours of my life and the price of a movie ticket. Garbage!

Finally, someone who thinks this movie was just a bunch of crap cookeis.
