Don't mess with Harry.
As you would expect this film lets us see Harry (good but unorthodox) triumph over the bad guys. His ways can't of course continue so he is assigned to a desk job. This film does very well to capture Harry's attitude. Clint Eastwood gives a top performance as Harry, and this helps to make the film a cut above.
One other thing that goes down well is Harry doing it his way, after all, who wouldn't like to throw out the rule book, the political correctness and just get things done?
In short, this is well done, well acted and what you want from a Dirty Harry film, if you haven't seen this it is worthwhile to see.
This film picks up a little while after Magnum force. The new bad guys are a terrorist group, calling themselves "The peoples revolutionary strike force", and they have declared war on San Francisco. So what do they want? Money of course, not sure what is revolutionary about ransom?
All the people in charge are more concerned about political correctness than about bending the rules to stop the bad guys. This leaves the police department no choice but put Harry back on the street, he was confined to desk duty for being uncontrollable.
The police chief of course isn't about to let Harry have everything his own way, so he is assigned a new partner. This will require both of them to work together if they are to stop the terrorists. Harry isn't know for making friends.
Great movie this one :)
