Let's face it every Transformers movie since the first has been trash. Just loads of useless explosions and rehashed storytelling. Now we are getting a Bumblebee movie.
Here's the synopsis from hollywoodreporter
The story is set in the year 1987, where Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small California beach town. Charlie (Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary yellow VW bug.
Michael Bay won't be directing, that honor will go to Travis Knight and the lead role has gone to WWE star John Cena. No offence to John Cena but i just don't find him the least bit watchable. At this point the Transformers franchise has become a cash grab. With the quality declining with each installment of the franchise this movie is a guaranteed failure for movie fans.
