Train To Busan (2016)
Directed By Sang-ho Yeon

Plot: An overworked father, unable to make time for his daughter, decides to surprise her with a trip to visit her mother by train. Besides his demanding career, the only thing getting in their way now is a good old-fashioned zombie apocalypse. The train passengers are starting to become infected and chance of survival is getting slimmer by the minute.

Reflection: I was completely blown away by this movie. The premise is very straight forward but they still manage to put so much depth into the characters and story. Asian film typically never fails to evoke a very visceral emotion and this Korean zombie film is no different. One moment your heart is pouring from the relentless chase, then the next thing you know.. someone must be cutting a whole onion next to me. Train To Busan is available on a lot of streaming services and I suggest you take full advantage.
