This post contains spoilers, if you have not seen the whole series, read this after viewing it

  • 13 reasons why

It is a series of Teen Drama released on Netflix on March 31, 2017, consists of 2 seasons currently with 13 chapters each. The series was based on the novel * '' Por thirteen razones '' * by Jay Asher. The plot is about a girl named Hannah Baker, who commits suicide for a series of events that caused her great depression and misery, caused by her schoolmates and before committing suicide she recorded 13 cassettes, where she explained the 13 reasons for her suicide, leaving a list and a manager so that all the people who were in those tapes, will hear why they were participants in this decision that she decided to take.

In May of 2017, it was announced that by May 18, 2018, the second of the series would be available, after finishing it, I was motivated to make this post, then 5 things that I liked and 5 things that I did not like of the second season:

  • 5 things I HATE about the second season of 13 reasons why.

  • New characters.

13-REASONS-WHY-ELENCO.jpg

In this season many new characters were included and more were given to some who were already like Sheri, Skye, Tyler, etc. The fact that they made Clay's girlfriend Skye was something I did not say I did not like, but it was stupid, because I do not understand what Skye had to do with all this, it's supposed to be the second season, not for sure but more or less it was known that it would be based on before and after the trial, by giving participation in the main chapters I assume it would be because they wanted to show a little of what would be the life of the characters a year after Hannah's suicide, but I still thinking that it was idiotic to put a couple to Clay in the second season.

  • Tyler’s abuse scene.

The violation of Tyler in the last chapter of the series, was quite strong, I think I can say that it is one of the most realistic scenes that the series has and although it is a positive thing that the series shows reality, most people who see this series are teenagers and I have read comments that the scene was little tolerated by many people, personally I thought it was a good scene in the sense that they arrived where they had to arrive, that is, they hit the spot with this scene, I do not know why this is in the things that I do not like, really, but really what I did not like was that the scene was so graphic.

  • Cyrus and Mackenzie.

13-reasons-why-adds-seven-new-characters-for-season-2.jpg

They are two brothers who were added this season and I have two words to describe their roles: BIG SHIT, they really do not seem more than '' stuffed '' if you could say that they have no great argument to be in the series, his part, Cyrus was the one that motivated Tyler to do things that, he wanted to do, he had to stake, and let's say he had a great plot (his character still seems like a shit but good), but Mackenzie was only the cause of the fight between Cyrus and Tyler, which made sense when they sent him to the reformatory but still it still seems like crap.

  • The beginning.

The beginning the series, the first chapters were very confusing and it is totally normal, but the first chapters became tedious, really there is not much to say about the first chapters, it was based on itself, on the lies of Bryce, Courtney and the lawyer that literal made them lie and confuse their arguments in defense of the school. The first chapters, like until the middle of the second season, there was an interesting fact, I think that they wanted to leave the best for the end, and although they cut it horribly, I think that instead of doing so many scenes of Clay and the ghost of Hannah (which in many was horribly felt to be stuffed), they had to give more action to the second, in the first the same thing happened, but the first one was better in terms of the facts, the action, the mystery and the drama, than the second.

  • Bryce and Liberty High.

193074.jpg

The truth is that this was something that I did not like at all, really, it seemed impossible for Bryce to win the case, no matter how good his lawyer is, the evidence was very clear and then after they were arrested they left Justin with probation for 3 months and Bryce was only given a month, which seems illogical because Justin's lawyer was Clay's mother and his signature was so "important" because he did not win the case or at least tried to negotiate the sentence and the time of probation, one of the things that screwed up the series, was that Bryce and those who testified in Hannah's trial, still not being in favor of the school, nor Bryce and having quite clear evidence, they would change everything in the end and lose the case, except for Bryce's case, which I assume would be for lack of evidence, because Jessica and Justin say they were drugged and drunk, their testimony would not be taken in the same way.

  • 5 things I LOVED from the second season of 13 Reasons Why:

  • Clay and Justin.

Clay's parents decided to adopt Justin and help him get out of the problems of his heroin addiction because of the abandonment of his mother, the problems with his stepfather, Hannah's suicide and everything that happened, it was something of a truth quite interesting because apart from that it was a pretty big lesson, it was the biggest plot twist I've seen in my life, because they hated each other and in the end they ended up being adoptive brothers and quite close.

  • Hannah and Zach.

The adventure between Zach and Hannah was quite strong, but I think one of the best things in the series, the truth is that it was the most beautiful love story in the whole series and it was the only thing that did not end tragically and did not have much trouble. protocol, the truth is that they made a very nice couple, they got along pretty well, except that Zach did not want to make public his relationship with Hannah, I do not really blame her Hannah had a horrible reputation.

  • The scene of the beating in the hall.

One of the most epic scenes and loved by all the seers of this series, when the fight begins, Clay over Bryce, Tony beating Montgomery, Alex when he hits Montgomery with the cane, no doubt this scene loves her, It was where many of us unleashed the rage we've had a year since we saw the first season.

  • Hannah's funeral.

Although it was the saddest scene of all, I really liked it was because Hannah will go to rest and will not stay around like a soul in pain, and also because although they were all very hurt, they were in the face of the characters that were already As if fed up with the case, Not Hannah as such, if not all the problems she left and at the funeral it looked like everything had already happened, it did not go as they wanted and they expected it but everything was over.

  • Zach and Alex.

Zach's participation in this season caught my attention, because in the first one, he was any character, but in this one he showed his good side, he took care of Alex, no matter that his friends made fun of him for doing it, he continued doing it, I was still helping Clay. Likewise I also liked Sheri's participation, he was a great character and I did not think he had been given so little participation in the first, but in the second I loved his character, the work of the actress and everything.
