Set in a dystopian future where humanity is struggling to survive, the film follows a group of astronauts who travel through a wormhole in search of a new home for humanity.
So if you haven't watched this movie, please go check it out because the director; Christopher Nolan, did a pretty good job on the movie and its one of my favorite movies of 2014.
Anyway the movie was so well structured and explained that I pretty much agreed with the logic. The movie is structured on a causal loop theory. A causal loop in the context of time travel is a sequence of events (actions, information, objects, people) in which an event is among the causes of another event, which in turn is among the causes of the first-mentioned event. So let’s take for example, you travelled back in time to try and correct a mistake you made in the past, by actually going back in time to correct that mistake you set a series of events that leads to the creation of that same mistake you are trying to correct in the first place. And even if I am to believe that time travel truly is possible, I believe it would result in a predestination paradox which is a causal loop. I'm so fascinated with the concept that's why I love the movie.
