I was lucky, I got to go to a charity event my client sponsored. Unexpected meeting of a sporting legend in Thailand, undefeated and unbelievably conditioned Muay Thai fighter Buakaw, one of the most legendary Muay Thai fighters to ever live ... and lucky enough, here and now in our time.
I didn't rush in for the photo, few people were making 'selfies' that he wasn't particularly interested. I took my time and had engaged him for a brief chat, resulting in the nice engaged shot here - although, I'm looking rough as I was still having a hangover from the night before :(
So, what did I say to get him so engaged? I invited him to a rivals gym, where I have trained (on my seriously beginner/amateur level) .... (he's the one on the left obviously. And could probably defeat me with nothing but his little toe on this left foot and hands legs still tied, whilst sleeping ... I'd still be too scared to challenge, and so should anyone )
