You can't bring yourself to go through another talk session with Ms. Sheridan. you missed breakfasts today, had a class without good visual it's been quite an interesting day for a "first day at school".
All you can think of is food and sleep.
On your way outside, Jubal and his friends were discussing at the door, with every words they say sounding disgruntling. You made up your mind to head home.
Not in the mood to talk but still manage to ask for a clear passage from the group of friends that seem to have nothing to go back home to do.
"O,h, Queen of England, who'd thought we were worth hearing your voice after all" Jubal said
with a smirk on his face. You were about giving him answer that probably wouldn't had been the best at all. then you heard another voice...
"common Jubal, let her be, newbie and nervousness" Ricky added
The 4 boys drifted and you make your way to your locker. it's already 3:15pm, your head couldnt escape the thought of Ms. Sheridan waiting in the detention room but you mentally concluded she'd forgotten about your detention.
You transfer from North West Middle school because there have been report of students bully, something your parents detest, they have several theories of bullying and have always warn you not to be a part of it and never allow yourself to be a victim.
Well, except for the big head, you haven't seen any of sort. Mrs. Patto had been friends with your mother and she recommends John Radly Middle school.

You jumped out of bed wondering if you had over slept or it was the alarm that's at fault. Yesterday was not that of a great day at school and you don't want another Ms. Sheridan over you for late coming.

Everyone seem to be walking in pairs of three or more to their classes, maybe clustering is a part of their extracurricular activities for John Radly.

Ms. Sharidan let out a gasp at the sight of you, she could sense the simpering look on you. She only asked you to go ahead. She seem pretty occupied preparing for class and couldn't dig into other matters now.
The bell went off, you were heading to your locker to drop your books before checking the cafeteria for lunch.
Jubal and his friends were heading towards the cafeteria too, but they had slipped a note inside your locker.
After reading the note, all you wanted was to meet Ms. Sharidan, she was in her office with one of your classmate (Jenny), Jenny was out in a jiffy and gave you signal to go in.
You were not here yesterday, what happened? Ms. Sharidan asked

you trailed of at the sight of the boys outside. The students are coming in for Chemistry, you had envisage a peaceful day today but now, you're more curious about knowing your classmate and you just figured that asking your homeroom teacher was not a smart. You don't want to be the one on the headlines of any school scandal.
Ms. Sheridan couldn't help but notice how uneasy your second visit to her had been, she easily gave it to guilt feeling making you edgy. she might be wrong, but not entirely.
You're seated next to Jenny in chemistry class. Making friends was a nice concept you take your time to savour, that luxury of time has just been stolen away from you.

How's Chemistry class here? I do find it a bit mysterious in my other school, tell me it's an easy catch here

There's something you must know, few weeks ago, the school was been invaded by some thugs, they took some of the boys away and returned few hours after before the school closed for that day.

While every other boys were fine, Jubal who had been abducted too returned with bruises and injuries all over his body, that lead to his head injury too.

He said they had asked them to be a part of a cult group. Every other boys agreed out of frieght but him, and he was dealt with.

No doubt that incident had left him with a bit of sourness, he tends to be aggressive and always tries to scare newbie away from the school.

Your eyes were wide opened after hearing all these, that was a lot to process in a minutes. The school want to protect their reputation and that is why they have chosen to retain the boys so they wont spill words outside.
Jenny made her way outside the class, maybe she needed space too for all she just said
You should tell your Mother about the reality of the school which would not speak well of Mrs. Patto or risk staying in the school overrun by cult members, Ms. Sheridan is an option too,but you don't want Jubal in more trouble than he already is.

One of the main part of writing this was to bring the main character to a point of decision to extent the story to a gateway to a new universe. Although I liked your story you did miss the part about the choice.
