During our weekend on the shore of Batak lake we spent some time exploring near areas. Near a cave we visit a man told us about the Museum of Socialism in the near town. It didn’t sound very interesting in general but he mentioned about a large collection of cars that got our attention.
But we were amazed by the view when the woman opened the door for us when we arrived. It’s strange how the museum with all cars is in a huge hall in a hotel in the central area. It looked like an enormous basement but pretty neat and full of interesting stuff. Some of the stuff brought a lot of memories from our childhood.
Below you can see all the vehicles that were driving around here more than 30 years ago. For me more interesting were even the older ones. I even saw a Moskvich like the one my family had. Just the colour was different. Alongside the vehicles there were a lot of stuff that one could see in most of the homes back then.
