Zacky Vengeance spoke with the Argus Leader about providing fans with an incredible night when they see Avenged Sevenfold live, taking Breaking Benjamin & Bullet For My Valentine on the road with them, opening for Metallica on the WorldWired Tour, Brooks Wackerman joining the band, releasing “The Stage” as a surprise, wanting Avenged Sevenfold to lead the charge of the forefront of rock ’n’ roll and heavy metal, plus more.
“Every concert is really about doing the best you can that night and giving your fans the best you have to offer,” Vengeance said during a recent phone interview. “Honestly, I have one job, and that is giving people something no one else can provide for them. Which is an incredible night of Avenged Sevenfold music and hopefully memories that will last them a lifetime.”
“I believe in my heart that rock music is one of the most powerful forces of music that has ever existed,” he said. “When rock ‘n’ roll and heavy metal is back on top, and everyone gets sick of all this boring pop and boring rap and they want something with a little more substance, I want to be the band leading the charge of the forefront of it all.”
